Corporate Law and Corporate Governance

Choosing the right legal structure, responsible corporate management, and clear corporate governance structures are crucial to a company’s long-term success. This module teaches you the most important legal fundamentals regarding corporate structures, corporate governance, and the associated responsibilities.  You will learn about the relevant legal frameworks for collaborating with the board of directors, communicating with shareholders, and dealing with government agencies and regulatory requirements. Other key topics include capital issues, governance in a corporation, and financial reporting. The focus is on the practical application of the knowledge you gain, so that you can better understand corporate structures and confidently address legal issues in your day-to-day management responsibilities. In this way, you will strengthen your legal decision-making skills and lay the foundation for well-informed and legally sound business decisions.

The module is offered on-site. Subject to change.
