Employment Law for Managers
From signing an employment contract to day-to-day collaboration and the termination of an employment relationship: Labor law issues are a constant part of everyday HR work. Poor decisions in this area can not only have legal and financial consequences but also negatively impact the work environment and a company’s reputation.
This module teaches you the most important fundamentals of labor and social security law and raises your awareness of typical legal pitfalls. You will learn about the duties of care and diligence that companies owe their employees and how to handle compliance issues, new media, and internal investigations in a legally sound manner. Other key topics include the termination of employment, non-compete clauses, employment references, and legal issues related to mass layoffs. You will learn to assess the implications of HR decisions early on, identify risks, and act responsibly.

Fees
CHF 4,700
Course fees include materials, break refreshments and lunch. Participants must pay the additional costs for other meals, travel and accommodation.
