Poor decisions in this area can not only have legal and financial consequences but also negatively impact the work environment and a company\u2019s reputation.<\/p>\n<p>This module teaches you the most important fundamentals of labor and social security law and raises your awareness of typical legal pitfalls. You will learn about the duties of care and diligence that companies owe their employees and how to handle compliance issues, new media, and internal investigations in a legally sound manner. Other key topics include the termination of employment, non-compete clauses, employment references, and legal issues related to mass layoffs.
