The business unit «Law & Management» of the Executive School of the University of St.Gallen (HSG) offers since 2007 eight subject areas in open programmes at all levels (week-long seminars, CAS, DAS, Master’s Level) and tailor-made in-house courses. To date, more than 1,600 participants have attended the constantly updated and extended open executive education formats. The comprehensive executive education format that was introduced in 2021 signals a clear commitment to lifelong learning in that all the courses are of a consistently modular structure and can be compiled flexibly in terms of time and according to individual requirements. Above and beyond this, the following executive education objectives are pursued: becoming familiar with a wide variety of career perspectives and options, establishing and extending networks, developing new methods and tools, and generally extending participants’ own horizons.

In our seminars, relevant contents are packaged into brief interactive formats. They can be one-week courses, seminars of a few days, or (online) evening courses. Both the time required and the size of the groups are limited. Our seminars take their bearings from current and practical challenges and are run by experts from the relevant fields.

We offer various certificate courses that focus on different issues. As a rule, a certificate course (CAS-HSG) consists of three five-day module weeks. A certificate from Law & Management can be extended into a diploma or an Executive Master LM-HSG degree (under certain conditions).

Would you like to attend a diploma course? You can do so with us in a variety of issues. As a rule, a diploma course (DAS-HSG) consists of three of our certificate courses (CAS-HSG). This means that you will have to attend approx. nine five-day modules. When you have completed the course, you will have the option of extending our diploma into an Executive Master LM-HSG degree (under certain conditions).
