In Switzerland, there are more than 50’000 women with a university degree who have stopped working professionally in order care for family members or for other reasons. Many of them express having difficulty returning to the workforce, despite the shortage of qualified professionals in many sectors of the economy. Women who desire to return to the workforce or reposition themselves professionally can particularly benefit from an executive education programme that is tailored to help them restart their careers or take the next career step.<\/p>\n
For the past ten years the Women Back to Business programme has been supporting women on their way back to work or into a more challenging position. Management courses familiarise participants with the latest concepts and models in the most important areas of business management (i.e. strategy, HR, controlling and marketing). A big advantage in comparison to other executive education programmes are the individual and group coaching sessions as well as the internships that participants complete, which ensure a direct link to daily business practice. Many renowned companies greatly appreciate our programme and support it by providing scholarships and other services.<\/p>\n \n
The WBB programme looks back on a successful track record. This March, we are launching the programme in German for the 11th<\/sup> year in a row and the programme in English for the 3rd<\/sup> consecutive year. More than 250 women have graduated from the \u201cWomen Back to Business\u201d programme during this time. A large percentage of them (on average 75%) have successfully returned to the workforce and many now support current programme participants by offering them internships.<\/p>\n We will celebrate our 10th anniversary on 14 September 2018 at the Executive Campus of the University of St. Gallen. Carolina M\u00fcller-M\u00f6hl, president of the M\u00fcller-M\u00f6hl Foundation<\/a> and a supporter of the \u00abWomen Back to Business\u00bb programme since the very beginning, will give the keynote speech.
